Our next production is Tracey’s Wedding

This will form part of the celebrations of Duns Festival in July. Written and directed by local author (and incidentally President of Duns Players) Bob Noble this is the third of a trilogy of romantic comedies.

Finally, Duns lass Tracey gets to marry her fiancé of eight years, Wull. The play takes place at the reception in the Volunteer Hall, Duns. Local worthies, Elsie and Margaret, who have done the food and the flowers at the wedding, say to Tracey ‘The wedding is perfect – just enjoy your special day’.

But things go wrong: Why does the best man, Chris, have to call an ambulance? Who invited Wull’s former girlfriend the sexy Bridget? What happens to Tracey’s 15 year old niece when she drinks alcopops? Who is ‘Uncle Peter’ and what gives him the right to turn up at the wedding without an invitation?

The answers to these questions and more will be revealed when Duns Players present ‘Tracey’s Wedding’ at 7.30 pm on Sunday, 7 July 2013 at Duns Volunteer Hall. Tickets will be available at the door from 7.00 pm.
